Dramm 12343 170AL Heavy-Duty Aluminum Water Breaker Nozzle Review

I must admit, I have a nozzle fetish which started because there are so many nozzles on the market that suck. This nozzle is great. Gentle enough for most flowers and lots of flow to get the job done fast. The 400AL does dump even more water however you will not get as much push behind it because it has 400 holes. This one has 170 holes so there is more pressure behind it and it shoots farther. While the 400 is better for flowers because it is much more gentle I found it did not reach as far for some of my watering chores. To accomodate the many types of uses I have in the yard I simply have a ball valve and a quick connect at the end of all my hoses so switching out nozzles is easy. You can also use the ball valve to throttle your flow and pressure, which will make this particular nozzle have a more gentle flow without switching it out.
