I have been using these wands for many, many years. Eventually they would wear out, but only after years. OK, I can live with that. It came time to replace a few (I have 3 greenhouses and a garden so usually own 4 or 5 at a time). I have now had 4 of this new style break within 3 to 5 months of starting to use them. A fifth one is still holding on, but I've only been using it a couple of months. The new design is poor and doesn't stand up to daily use for 10 to 20 minutes each morning. The plastic lever that is the on/off lever snaps and there is no way to repair it. I expected much better.
