I bought this hose under the impression that it was lead free. It is labeled "Not labeled for sale in California" so it probably contains lead. The ACE branded version does not and seems to be of equal quality. There appear to be few options for lead-free hoses; "Boat and Camper" lower quality hoses and some hot water ones.

This hose has great flexability but does not kink often and appears to be very sturdy (only years of use will tell for certain).

This product is made in the USA as is the ACE hose mentioned above.

The Tuff-Guard 25-foot kink-proof garden hose assembly with 5/8" male and female Garden Hose Thread (GHT) connections is for use in watering and wash-down applications. The garden hose has a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tube for increased flexibility and easy maneuvering around the garden, and its internal braided core is made out of two-ply spiral polyester fiber for added strength. A polypropylene double helix coils around the hose’s exterior for dimensional stability that helps resist kinking and crushing to maintain full water pressure while compressed. The double helix design also helps protect the hose from abrasion, is weather resistant, and weighs less than traditional hoses for easier portability.

Heavy-duty brass ferrules connect the garden hose to its end connectors. The ferrules are internally expanded instead of crimped to the hose to preserve its 5/8" internal diameter for optimum water flow and to prevent leakage. The garden hose has a male GHT connection on one end for attaching sprayers or sprinklers and a female GHT connection on the opposite end of the hose for connecting to male-threaded water spigots. The connectors’ machined brass provides corrosion resistance and strength to prevent crushing, and their design permits wrench tightening and loosening. The garden hose has a maximum working pressure of 100 pounds per square inch (psi), a burst pressure of 300 psi, and a vacuum rating of 29 inches of mercury (inHg). It has a temperature range of -20 degrees F to 158 degrees F and comes with a one-year warranty for workmanship and material defects. Bought this to replace the standard garden hose as it was getting kinked in the caddy we have it in and it was a pain rolling it into the box any more. We have the kind that has the handle on the side and you just wind it in.

The larger version of this hose was on the amazon gold deals. I didnt need 100 ft for the back yard...got the 25 ft. When we received it, we thought strange looking and weird feel to it. But WOW...no weight at all to it, so not a drag to wind it up in the box...glides out very easily...no tugging or dragging the box with it. I am very glad we made this purchase and highly recommend it. I am almost 60...LOL...and I do have arthritis in my hands...this hose makes watering so much easier since it is so light and does not tangle or bend etc.

I like the pretty globes BUT I can't base this review on pretty alone, it is really about functionality. The opening to fill them is very small but you can work with it. What I did not forsee and should have is when you stick it in your plant soil gets shoved up inside the tube. Trying to get the soil out of the tube is another problem. And, they do not hold much water so they are always empty, especially in dry, hot Florida weather. Even though I'm using them in my plants inside my house, they empty quickly and I find myself maintaining these tubes alot. I was hoping for less maintenance.

King Kooker 04502 High Pressure Adjustable Regulator with Type 1 Connection and Listed LP Hose with Female Flare Swivel Review

I purchased this to fix a power problem on a Charbroil Grill. The grill would not sear meats, and was cold by he time you flipped anything. Everything turned out horrible and the grill would barely make it past 350 F. Note: the Grill was brand new, you get what you pay for, if you can go Webber.

This fixed an otherwise useless Grill. I now get nice sear marks after preheating the grill and the temp makes it well past 500F.

As someone else said it is quite possible to over power a grill with this as it is mainly an attachment for outdoor torches and stoves. If you decide to risk it, make sure you take the time to carefully regulate the output on this as you can get a full range from very weak to dangerous pressures. Usefull however for smoking at low temps and searing on high direct heat.

I like this, it does NOT tip over, the sprinkler I have used for about 3 yrs now and with good results. The ONLY MInor problem with this sprinkler is this: If you have low water pressure, or say you have 3 or 4 hoses hooked up at the same time, sometimes, it will not cycle properly, it will get to the end and just stit there, creating a big wet spot. But compared to many of the other stands I have used and their cheapness or tipiness, I like it.
