My PowerJet 900 pump seemed to be pretty weak for awhile. I opened up the cover & found my impeller missing half its vanes. The impeller disassembles into several parts, but I couldn't replace only the parts that were broken.The new impeller assembly dropped right in, I screwed down the cover, got my pump back to its rated strength. No muss, no fuss.
I am glad I could find a replacement part in these days of disposable everything & planned obsolescence.
