Rated it 4 stars because the pump is just too small and the gph is very low for the fountain. Other than that, I give this pump 5 stars for quality and usability. The pump seems to be well made and works as described. This pump is fairly small and should be used for table or extremely small patio fountains. Tetra makes good quality products and have been extremely satisfied with other items of Tetra pond and aquarium line.

I am going to purchase another pump, one in the 300 gph range. This pump is just too small for the fountain I am using it for and need to upsize the pump to double the gph amount, maybe even to the 400 gph rate.

Uno+ Replacement Sponge Set Review

Uno pond filter systems are among the better ones you can buy to keep the water clean in your backyard pond. Alas, with repeated rinsing and reinstallation, the two foam inserts become stretched out in the one case and compressed in the other. They no longer fit the housing that well, and pond water flows around them more than it does through them. The replacement filters are not cheap, but they do restore proper functioning to the unit.

My guess is that you can probably get two to three years off a set of filter inserts before replacement is advised. I let mine go for nearly five before doing something about the failed filters that came with the housing originally. I won't wait that long next time.

This is the 3rd. one I had to replace do to water leaking into the the unit. The cord grip seals at the cord but around the outside where the cord enters the transformer it allows water to get in. The transformer is potted with a black tar mixture, but it is poorly done and water gets into the electronics and shorts it out. At about $100.00 each this becomes expensive. Buying just the raw transformer means you have to make some kind of container to put it in. Since this option still costs about $65 you don't save very much. If I could buy the raw transformer for around $20 (which is all it should cost), then it would pay to make a container to put it in. For five years I've been using an old Gamma transformer by Current USA but it seems that it is no longer made.
