Strathwood Basics Iron Hose Bucket with Brushed Copper Finish Review
I looked a lot of hose pots, some with lids and some without, some with center posts and some without, some pretty tacky looking, too. This one is just about perfect for my needs. It is attractive and looks good sitting on the end of my front porch. I find the center post helpful in coiling the hose back into it neatly and the 3 drainage holes work well. Upon actual use, I'm happier without a lid than with one, as the hose does not show above the rim and it gets more air circulation, which means faster drying and less of a chace mosquitos will thrive in tiny puddles of water. The price was quite reasonable compared to some I looked at that were over $200 but still not as attractive. Unless you have an exceptionally large garden hose, this should hold it comfortably. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Strathwood Basics Iron Hose Bucket with Brushed Copper Finish" are high quality item.
