I was never keen on the sight of coiled up hoses in and among the landscaping, so I started looking at hose buckets/pots. Catalogs like Fr...gate have some very nice ones for around two hundred fifty bucks, and Gard...rs S...ply has nice ones for around one twenty five, but that's a lot more than I wanted to spend on a hose pot. So, I searched on Amazon and found these for forty nine each, which fit my budget. I ordered two, and both arrived with dents (possibly because they were shipped together in the same large box and had banged into each other?). The dents were pretty big (about 3"); they don't appear in the product photo and don't appear to be a distressed-look "feature". For a few seconds I was annoyed, then I figured "hey, they're hose pots, and they'll get banged up a lot more." So, I went ahead and used them. They look good outdoors, hold very long hoses, and are very easy to use. There are drain holes in the bottom so they don't collect rain. The pots are made from antique finish steel -- not as chic as copper, but much cheaper. In a nutshell, these are not high end hose pots, but they're very functional, sturdy, large capacity, and dramatically cheaper than the designer pots in high-end outdoor goods catalogs.
