To start with I bought a metal awning that already had a 20' mister system on it. But I found that it was just a little short for what I needed. I saw this and thought, what a perfect add on. It shipped fast and was exactly what they said it would be. Now it does NOT come with a connector so that you can just add it to your existing system when you get it. You will need to get one from the hardware store. I bought the one that just slips on and has little rubber O rings inside it. After that I had it up in no time and adjusted the misters to the right angle and bam, it was done. Now when it hits 120 hear in AZ I won't roast just going out on the porch. Just a little note. If you need to adjust the angle of the misters then you just have to hold the hose and give a good twist on the mister casing. They are shrink fit on, but not glued.
