UPDATE: 11/27/2011 - Sadly this nozzle started leaking badly and is now basically no longer useable. Didn't quite make a full season of use. I had high hopes for the nozzle but this one has also ultimately disappointed. The quest continues for a reliable, long lasting hose nozzle. I am going to reduce my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars since the durability of this nozzle has fallen far short of what you'd expect. I will leave my original review for your consideration.

What follows is my original review...

Oh the quest for a durable, useable hose nozzle. This Nelson 50130 has a nice selection of spray patterns, although a couple of them are so similar I wonder if they are really necessary at all.

The "Easy Clik" on-off button is clever but a little wishy-washy when it is pushed. Since it has a rubbery cover over it, the button action is sometimes wobbly and I don't know whether it will last very long or whether the cover will eventually deteriorate and rip off in a season or two of usage. And if the covering does rip off, will the button still function? Questions I can't answer yet. In any case, it's great to be able to have the water flow without having to continually squeeze anything.

The flow control is very nice and lets you finely control the amount of flow/pressure for delicate watering situations.

I would gladly pay three times as much for a bullet-proof, substantial hose nozzle that doesn't break in a year or two of use. This is one of many that I've purchased in the last few years. As new, it works great, but time will tell if it eventually bites the dust like most do after some time. For now, I'll rate it 4-stars and will update this review if needed.
