I just put this together yesterday in the middle of a rainstorm and really wanted to get it in place to see how it works. The instructions were exceptionally clear and easy to follow. The kit even contains the hole saws you need for the barrel and the downspout. Probably start to finish, including reading the instructions and getting supplies ready, the process took maybe an hour. I bought a blue shipping food barrel and used that as my rain barrel. The rain diverter is very easy to put in and use. Since it was raining as we installed it, we stuck it in the hole in the downspout and water immediately streamed out of it, so we knew instantly that it worked. I got up this morning and the barrel is full to the top. The only drawback to this kit is that the spigot is nylon rather than metal, so it may not last very long. But the connections are solid heavy rubber, meaning I didn't have to caulk anything and it is not leaking a bit. I really recommend this kit for its ease and design.
