I go through these because I use the quick connects and a shut off at the end of each hose (which I highly recommend for convienience-better than a shirt pocket). This is my second pack from Amazon and they stop leaks better than the plastic washers. If storing for extended period, you might keep them from air exposure (as they will dry rot as rubber will do). Just keep them in the bag closed. I've even coated them with vasoline to extend it's shelf life.
