TotalPond A16546 Pond Blue Koi Water Spitter Review

This little koi was such a pleasant surprise! Beautifully detailed and much heavier in weight than I imagined it would be. I tried the 1/2" tubing to connect it, but that slid off too easily, so I went to the 3/8". It was tough to get on, so I heated the end of the tubing in boiling water then slid it into place while the tubing was still hot...perfect fit!
To tell you how tough and well made this spitter is: My pond is situated in a large landscaped circle coming into our drive and a lost soul driving a huge truck and pulling a large boat ran right into the circle and over my koi spitter one night. The koi is so well constructed that it had just a few scratches in the finish and otherwise survived being run down and thrown over 15 feet across the road. It had no internal damage and still works perfectly. I was relieved that it wasn't damaged as I love watching the deer drink from the stream of water this spits! This is so well made compared to the lightweight spitters I found in our local stores, I highly recommend it!
