I ordered this and missed the depth measurement, assuming it was for a normal interior wall. Turns out this unit is for a 6" wall and I had to return it and make do with the old method as I did not have time to order another one for 4" walls.

Make sure you order the right wall depth model. This item is made of metal and much nicer than the plastic one's offered at Lowe's, which split easily. I wish I had been able to use this when I remodeled the laundry room.
