The controls to regulate the flow of water pressure and spray patterns are inadequate. It's either full flow or none. There is a dial to supposedly increase and/or decrease the flow, but it is useless. The 5 spray patterns are lousy. It is a poor design of a simple hand-held water wand. A better water wand is the Melnor 8 Pattern Soft Touch Watering Wand Model # 229-423 for about the same price. I bought the Melnor and it is far superior to the Nelson wand. You will like the Melnor if you heed my opinion.
