I like these timers because they're inexpensive and easy to use. Unfortunately when it comes to watering devices, there's no market for truly durable and long-lasting stuff - it would be too expensive - despite the complexity of controlling water at high pressure in a challenging outdoor environment. To start with I bought a metal awning that already had a 20' mister system on it. But I found that it was just a little short for what I needed. I saw this and thought, what a perfect add on. It shipped fast and was exactly what they said it would be. Now it does NOT come with a connector so that you can just add it to your existing system when you get it. You will need to get one from the hardware store. I bought the one that just slips on and has little rubber O rings inside it. After that I had it up in no time and adjusted the misters to the right angle and bam, it was done. Now when it hits 120 hear in AZ I won't roast just going out on the porch. Just a little note. If you need to adjust the angle of the misters then you just have to hold the hose and give a good twist on the mister casing. They are shrink fit on, but not glued. And no they don't leak afterwords. Happy cooling

Water Right PSH-025-MG-6PKRS 25-Foot x 1/2-Inch Polyurethane Lead Safe Ultra Light Slim Garden Hose - Olive Green Review

I love the weight of this hose! It has made watering all my potted plants on my front porch so much easier. I am a woman in my 40s with rheumatoid arthritis, so this has helped me even more than many, I'd guess. The only negative is that the hose is like a stubborn 2-year-old child; it curls up however it pleases, this way and that with no rhyme or reason, and doesn't develop "place memory" to eventually coil the right way in my hose pot.

I paired this with a pretty wicker hose pot so it can sit right on my porch by the front door. I also bought a long-handled wand (will review both so you can find the products if you like) and now it takes me literally about 3 minutes to water at least 15 pots, and no leaning over to ensure the hose hits the pot either.

Keep in mind that 25 feet is not really all that long so measure where you want to water to make sure it will go that far.

CobraCo HHEBR Bird Motif Copper Finish Hose Holder Review

Amazingly high quality solid copper (correction - painted steel!) piece. Better than I was expecting based on the description and picture. Get the real thing for what most places charge for resin or plastic knock offs. Very pretty embossed pattern. Will be getting a second one soon.

Update - further research indicates this is painted steel. Has held up very well in actual use. I appreciate the lid. Looks good and keeps the hoses out of the sun. Still wish it were real copper, but then it would be a lot more money.

I live in a townhouse in Earthquake and Hurricane country. I figured a water barrel for an emergency would not be remiss. I needed something that held a lot of water, but wasn't too obvious because of my HOA restrictions. I bought this barrel and a Kwik Can cover to go over it. Once filled and covered, I am putting a wooden "tabletop" on it to hold plants. This barrel is only 3 feet tall, so it isn't really much taller than a plant stand would be. I'm very happy with it and my HOA should not even notice that it is a water barrel and not a plant stand in the corner of my patio. I will be getting a second one after the holidays for the other side of the patio for balance.
