Instructions
-Before using your hose, place the rubber washer firmly inside the female coupling. This will prevent leaking.

Great product I purchased the 50 ft. Expanding pocket hose with plastic fittings by Epic Deluxe as it seem like a great choice As soon as I hooked it up and followed the directions telling you to use the on/off in-line switch to run water through the hose, it worked perfectly and smooth ,After removing that section, I tried the hose out and it seemed to work OK with the water pressure being about normal. Otherwise, your lovely blue hose will give no problems I used it soon as it came in the box . Note that the proper use instructions direct you to empty the water out of the hose completely after each use. This is especially important if you have purchased a 50 ft. or longer hose. I have not owned the expandable hose long enough but I could say it will up stand It's usage plus the self shrinking feature is cool and the only reason I bought the hose in the first place is because I hate having to roll up my hose each time after washing my car down.
