This is a good solid brass hose elbow that can fit in a tight space. It comes with a rubber gasket on the female side. The threads are standard U.S. garden hose threads. The elbow can also be used on a hot water tank drain tap if space is too tight to attach a hose directly.

While the photo makes it appear to be a 90 degree elbow, it is actually about a 45 degree elbow (in usual plumbing terminology), meaning that it changes the hose line direction by about 45 degrees. This means that the angle between the center lines of the legs is about 135 degrees.

The dimensions along each leg of the elbow are about 1-3/4". This is the length along the outside of each leg of the elbow from the surface of each threaded end to the rounded outside of the fitting (not along the center lines). Each leg is about the same length when the female end is screwed onto the mating fitting. In the photo it doesn't look this way because the screw-on female collar is not extended.
