I've been using K Rain sprinklers for 10 years, since doing my own backyard landscaping on new construction. I've since moved to a house that has Hunters installed. The Hunters are fine but I hate adjusting them, whereas the K-Rain's are much more intuitive. Living in Texas with record heat the past couple summers, we've had to combat dry spots while not wasting water on the sidewalks or street. The K-Rains work great to get additional throw, while still putting down water close to the head. In the past I've bought one at a time as needed. But the price in my local big box home improvement store has steadily increased. With Amazon's low price, I decided to just order few and keep them on hand.

I have sold hoses similar to this at home shows before, and here are some of the distinctions which aren't obvious at first glance.It is exceptionally strong material, and it does hold it's recoil ability.The measured length is at maximum stretch. Because of the recoil ability it takes a little muscle to get there.When it's full of water, the weight effects the recoil ability.The transparent quality of the hose actually lets light inside and can allow the growth of algae.It is a very clean material and is suitable for drinking water.It has a higher PSI rating than most hoses which means it's good under pressure.A few of them together make a decent solar water-heater.The material is polyurethane. There are good polyurethane adhesives which will seal punctures you might get in the hose.One of the other reviews stated that the water pressure wasn't sufficient. Orbit Ultimate Brass Male 5/8" Water Hose Repair Mender Review

This is far and away the best hose mender I've found. You slip the knurled collar over the hose first, attach the threaded section and then screw the collar down to grip the hose. (I dip the hose is very hot water to soften it and make it easier to tighten.) The final result looks (and works) like the fittings applied at the factory.

There is a warning not to use it on hot water hoses which makes sense. The first one I used on a garden hose has being going for years without problems.

Esschert Design USA TG121 Cast Iron Wall Mount Hose Holder Review

I have only just gotten this hose hanger, so I do not know the longevity of the product, but my first impressions are good. The hanger seems to be sturdy. It looks really nice. The only drawbacks are that it is not the same diameter as most hose hangers that I have had (just as the picture suggest). So I think that the hose does not hang normally in my opinion. Another thing is that it only has two anchor points which makes me worried that it will pull out of my wall eventually. Only time will tell.
