I put 4 pf these (seablaze3 in blue) on my 32' sportfish. They were easy to install and they are very bright. You need to drill a 1/2" hold for the base of each lamp, butter up the back of the lamp with 4200 adhesive, clean up the squeezed-out excess and install 3 SS screws with a nylon washer. Each light has 8 LED's and draws 2.5 amps. The 4 lights draw 10 amps combined. The wiring is proper marine grade tinned wire.. My only concern is the housing is Aluminum and I worry about corrosion and eventual leaking into the light. But so far these look like a great bang for the buck. Other lights this bright cost 1000's per light and require you to saw a large hole in the boat. Further there is no transformer or black box required with these, just wire them up to a fused switched circuit and you are good to go.

If they hold up they will be great...time will tell. But so far...I like them a lot.

I keep a 5000 gallon pond in Eastern WA: heat and sun, with a lot of infalling leaves. Three products keep my pond so clear the fish look like they're swimming in glass....and this is one of them. It kills cladella, the stringy sort of algae. Without it---green gunk, everywhere. This is extremely pricey stuff---if you think of it as a box of powder; but it beats UV filters and every other really expensive algae-fighting equipment you can install, and if well-sealed, it lasts.

What I do, using all 3 remedies: Interpet Pond Balance, MicrobeLift Sludge Remover (it takes care of the bottom sludge), and PondCare's AlgaeFix (it gets the fine floating algae that makes water murky, and that no filter can trap)--- 1) do NOT use them all at the same time: space them out with several days intervening. 2) Pay close attention to instructions---they aren't kidding that AlgaeFix requires strong oxygenation: 3) watch your fish closely for any sign of distress. If you see distress, start adding water from a garden hose full blast, from as great a height as you can into the water. This drives oxygen into the water.

And if your pond is really bad, as in 'cannot see your fish', do this from the start, which is easier on your fish, especially big ones: with each of the *PondCare AlgaeFix* treatments---pump out your pond, bringing your water level as low as you safely can, rewater the pond with clean water (clean cool water carries more oxygen), dechlorinate, add Pondcare AlgaeFix now that you have pumped out a lot of the problem water, and you'll get ahead of the algae/murk monster. It may take one such major pump-out and treatment a month if you've got a real problem going, but once you get ahead of the built-up muck, you'll be amazed.
