10 Watt Submersible Halogen Light Review

This light puts off pretty good light for a small pond or fountain. It's nice because it comes with a transformer and you don't need to connect it to an existing 12V landscape lighting system. It also lays flat on the bottom and shines straight up, rather than aiming at something. So if you want to highlight a certain item in a pond, this may not be the right choice. It's more for general illumination of a small area. Probably not great for large ponds either. My fountain is only about 12 gallons and it's plenty bright for that. In fact it blinds you if you look straight down at it. My bulb lasted one season and I replaced it with a 20 watt by mistake. It fried it but that's my fault. I am buying another one.
