I needed something that was really functional due to all the debris generated by my plants' roots zone in my aeroponic system. Since you're looking for a pre-filter for your small submersible pump you know you have a very limited choice. After looking for a very long time I decided that I'd Google "Little Giant pre-filters" and voila, this was in the results. This pre-filter just happened to fit MY pump!

It wasn't cheap but it is well worth what I paid. The filter pads are very high quality and the dual pre-filter concept is great because it allows twice the water flow (11 G.P.M.) compared to a single pre-filter.

It's easy to install and mechanically filters most everything.

I would highly recommend this pre-filter to anyone with a 1/2" pump inlet and a pump that can accommodate the 12" width of this pre-filter.
