Noticed the water was starting to turn green, checked and sure enough my UV bulb had gone out. Glad I got this kit which includes the O rings and lubricant - the O rings need to be replaced when you change the bulb according to the manual. Haven't used the foam filters yet, will save them for spring but they seem fine.

Koolscapes Solar Pond Lighting Review

I was thrilled to receive this illuminated solar powered pond ball one day after I ordered it while using Amazon's standard shipping. It came fully charged and ready to use. The only small disapointment was the ball did not illuminate the pond bottom as thought originally. It did not advertise as such however and it works every evening and the ball manages to stay lit all through thr night despite a slightly shaded area. It has become quie the conversation piece and I would certainly suggest this to a friend as a good means of top light illumination for the pond while used in conjuntion with a bottom lighting system.
