I figured that I would give this a try, because the price was right. Well, you get what you pay for. This de-icer is simply an aerator that is supposed to hook up to your pond pump. The box clearly states that it will work with most pumps...guess what?...it does not. If you don't already own one of the two Laguna brand pumps specified on the box, good luck making this work. Not worth the cost to return it...I just wish there had been a better description provided of what this product actually is; even if you go to the Laguna website, it is still unclear how this product works (or won't work) in your pond.
