We wanted something inexpensive and reliable that would add aeration to koi pond. It is important in hot summer to have additional aeration as well as something to back up aeration in case the main pump gets blocked. Delighted to find this item. Wife would have like it painted more attractive "heron" colors. I am fine with the color. But, this winter when I paint the garden gnomes and other yard items, I will work on some attractive color scheme to make wife happier. For the price, I am happy with item purchased!
