I have had this hose connector for 1 year, and it is now leaking from a hole in the seam, I would recommend trying metal instead. I am going to get the metal one and hope it works.
Update: metal did end up working alot better and was well worth the extra cost, but the valve handles broke off one that I have, yet the other still works fine after over 10 years of use.
